Minimize, Maximize, Restore, Move, and Resize windows. Multitasking (running more than one program at a time). Viewing multiple programs simultaneously FILE MANAGEMENT: Save, Close, Open and Print files.
Rename, Copy, and Delete files. Installing and un-installing software. Copying a file to
or from a floppy disk. SHORTCUTS: Create, rename, and delete shortcuts to files and programs. SEARCH/FIND: Locate and open files and programs. RECYCLE BIN: Delete and Restore files and shortcuts. CUSTOMIZE WINDOWS: Change mouse, keyboard, Desktop, and screen saver settings. Move, Re-Size, and Hide the Taskbar, etc. PREREQUISITES: Introduction to Computers and/or mouse experience. Handout covers versions 95-XP. Students will use XP Professional in class. |
