POWERPOINT BASICS:
Create, edit, close, open, view, save, and run presentations.
PRESENTATION ELEMENTS:
Create, edit, view, move, and delete slides. Move and resize placeholders. Change slide layout.
WORK WITH SLIDES:
Add slides containing Clipart, Tables, Graphs, and Organization Charts.
WORK IN DIFFERENT VIEWS:
Use Slide View to create and edit slides. Use Outline View to quickly enter text. Use Slide Sorter View to copy, move, and delete slides. Use Notes Pages View to add speaker’s notes.
SPECIAL EFFECTS:
Add "Transitions" between slides, and "Builds" to bulleted lists. Add Slide Timings to run a presentation automatically. Add sound effects. Adjust the speed of different special effects.
DRAWING TOOLS:
Draw squares, circles, arcs, freehand objects, etc. Use AutoShape feature. Rotate drawing elements.
PREREQUISITES: Introduction to Windows
or comparable experience. Course handout covers version 2007. Students will use version 2007 in class.
