SEARCH ENGINES Use Search Engines (programs used to find information) such as Google and Yahoo!. Learn many useful techniques to narrow down a search. DOWNLOAD FILES Download files. Save files. Avoid computer viruses. E-MAIL Compose and send e-mail messages, reply to e-mail, and attach a file to e-mail. PREREQUISITES: Introduction to Windows or comparable experience. Course handout will cover Netscape, Internet Explorer, and AOL. Internet Explorer will be used in class. |
