Course Description:
Illustrator is a vector-based, graphic editor that is used by many graphic designers and graphic artists to create crisp logos and graphics, with or without text, that can be exported to print or the web. Vector-based means that graphic, logos, text and other images are made up of precise elements such as lines, curves, shapes and text that can be scaled larger or smaller without any distortion. This course will go over the fundamentals of creating graphics, using Illustrator's most common tools and functions. Upon completion of this course the student will be able to create graphics that can be exported to a variety of file types that can be used for professional printing or web graphics.
