FRONTPAGE BASICS: Create, edit, save, and upload a
website. HYPER-LINKS: Use hyper-links to connect different pages within your website,
connect to other websites, or add an e-mail link so people can contact
you. TABLES: Create and format a variety of tables to organize
and provide a framework for design elements on web page. Change the border size,
padding, spacing, alignment, and color scheme. Format the text inside the table. GRAPHICS: Add graphics to a web page, change the
size and position of the graphic, adjust brightness and contrast, crop
picture, create a thumbnail, etc. SOUNDS & VIDEO: Add sound and video your web site. MISC.: Add hover buttons, search form, marquee, table of contents, etc. RENTING WEB SPACE: Learn what to look for when renting web space, where the best deals are, and what to expect from a web hosting company. UPLOADING FILES: Learn to use FrontPage to publish (upload) your web site files to your web hosting company’s server. PREREQUISITES: Introduction to Windows or comparable experience. Students will use FrontPage 2003 in class. Handout covers versions 2000-2003. |
