ADVANCED FORMS: 

Work with Layout View to design a form. Add Controls to a form, such as: List Boxes, Combo Boxes, Options Groups, etc. Select Record Source for form fields.

CALCULATIONS (EXPRESSIONS):

Learn different ways to calculate numbers and summarize data.

EXTERNAL DATA 

Import data from Excel, Outlook, or another Access database. Collect data from e-mail programs, create e-mail surveys, etc. Attach file(s) to Access, send XPS Attachments, save objects as web files, insert hyperlinks.

ADVANCED QUERIES:

Use advanced queries such as: Find Duplicates Query to locate duplicate records, Find Unmatched Query to locate records in one table that have no matching record in another table.

ADVANCED FORMS: 

Create forms with sub-forms. Add buttons to forms to run macros. Add drop-down look-up fields to forms. Change Properties of fields. Place Calculations in Headers and Footers.

ADVANCED REPORTS, PIVOT REPORTS, & PIVOT TABLES:

Create Mailing Labels for a Word Mail Merge, etc. Create Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts. Save forms as reports, work in Design View with reports.

MANAGE A DATABASE

Learn how to Backup, Compact, and Repair a database. Split a database, use Linked Table Manager, make an ACCDE database. Work with Trust Center settings, add or remove a password.

SHARE DATA WITH WORD: 

Merge names and addresses from an Access database into a Word form letter. 

PREREQUISITES: Introduction to Access or comparable experience. Course handout covers version 2007-2010. Students will use version 2007-2010 in class.
